Is it a good idea to not have sex if i'm on antibiotics?

Depends: If you are on birth control pills, then the addition of oral antibiotics can decrease the effectiveness of the bcp's. Best to use another form of contraception until you have completed the antiobiotics if you wish to have sex.

No: As long as you're not on antibiotics for a sexually transmitted disease, it's not a problem.
