Yogurt: Prolonged antibiotic use may wipe out your own gut bacteria. Try yogurt and cheese products to try replenish your gut bacteria. Probiotics vary in terms of quality so it's hard to comment on their efficacy in general.

Probiotics: But not all probiotics are created equal. Different probiotics are targeted for different things, i would start with lactobacillus and or acidophilus. Yacult in the yogurt section of your grocery store has many strains, keifer also if you are not lactose intolerant.
