A member asked:

How far into the vagina is the cervix and how do you know if you have a cervical infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

About six inches: Actually, vaginal length varies a bit, but average is about six inches. The symptom of a cervical infection would be an abnormal discharge. Infections in that area tend to include the whole of the vaginal lining.
