A member asked:

What is circumolar erosion , cervix and how it is connected to fungal infection in vagina?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A fungal infection: Will not cause an erosion. I am not aware of the term circumolar in reference to an erosion but we use that typically as a descriptive term for inflammation of the cervix. So there can be an actual erosion but i bet in your case u had vaginitis, the cervix appeared inflamed, u were told it was an erosion, my hunch, not a big deal but ask your doctor about it, he or she r the one who saw it.Gdluc.
