What is a meatoplasty, with reference to urology?

Meatoplasty: Meatoplasty is the surgical procedure to open a narrow penile meatus.

Repair of the meatus: The urethral meatus is the hole where urine exits the body. A meatoplasty is a surgical procedure to fix the meatus, to allow urine to flow more normally. In boys, scarring or narrowing of the meatus can be fixed with a meatoplasty. A meatoplasty may be used in a hypospadias repair, a condition where the urethra does not develop normally. In women, scarring in vulva may require this repair.

Reshaping: Thr urethral meatus is the opening of the urethra. When it is tight we call it meatal stenosis. Meatoplasty isa minor surgical procedure to make the opening(meatus) a little bigger.

Meatoplasty: This is a minor procedure to open up the urethra meatus when it is small. This should only be done if there is difficulty urinating or infections have caused to become smaller

Meatoplasty: A procedure to enlarge the opening at the tip of the penis for improved urinary flow

Meatoplasty: It is a surgical procedure to the urethral meatus, the opening at the end of the penis. Usually done to make the opening bigger and improve the flow if urine.

Meatus: When the hole at the tip of the penis which pee comes out of is called the Meatus ; it can be too small and cause urinaru issues in children sometime we make the opening larger ; this is call a meatoplasty

Syrsurgery on penis: It is the repair of narrow opening of the urine channel (urethra) at the tip of the penis. It is usually performed on young boys. In most cases, it is a short, safe, outpatient procedure.

Surgical procedure: To widen the penis hole where urine exists the body.
