No: Hpv infections do not cause infertility. If hpv infections cause severe or high grade changes to the cells of the cervix, you may have to undergo a leep or conization procedure. These procedures carry a small risk of causing the cervical canal to scar, making it difficult for sperm to travel up into uterus. The treatments for this rare scarring are easy and will fix infertility!

Yes, maybe: Yes - hpv causes cellular changes to the cervix, vaginal and vulva leading to cancer and precancerous lesions that may need ot be removed. This could include proceedures such as leeps or loops that remove part of the cervix. This can cause incompetent cervix leading to difficulty with getting pregnant or continuing a pregnancy. It may also lead to the need to remove the whole uterus and cervix.
