Exclude pregnancy: The most important thing is to make sure whether you are pregnant. A serum pregnancy test is most accurate early. If not pregnant you will need your doctor's help to sort out the numerous other possibilities. If you are taking a low dose pill, sometimes the periods are so light as to not be noticed. Anxiety can cause a missed period. Certain kinds of pills are better at regulating your cycle.

Rule out pregnancy: You're probably not and it is, most likely, an adjustment issue. However, it's best to be sure.
