Hi.i would like to know does herpes cause dry skin and affect the mouth.my gp refuses to treat me?

Stomatitis: Herpes simplex can cause an infection of the mouth and it is generally painful with fever. Dry skin is not a usual symptom of it but cold sore lesions are. I would follow the advice of your physician.
