Intestinal infection: Most of the time when people get diarrhea something is in your intestines that your body is trying to clear out. Drink clear liquids only for 24-36 hours so you stay hydrated and don't burden your digestive tract with food. If diarrhea lessens then advance with a Banana, rice, applesauce, toast diet x 1 day. Avoid milk/dairy for about a week. If it persists with diarrhea see a doctor. .
