Micronor (norethindrone) Contracepti: Micronor (norethindrone) is the mini pill and has Progesterone only as compared to other birth control pills that have estrogen and progesterone. Micronor (norethindrone) has a higher failure rate for contraception than other pills and hormonally may not provide you with relief of any menopausal symptoms. It does provide contraception and is a viable option, but if y9ou have menopausal symptoms, consider something else.

Yes : Micronor (norethindrone) is a good option for anyone who wants an oral contraception and who can't take estrogen or the regular birth control pill. Perimenopausal women def need to continue to use birth control.
