Dietary supplements: as with all dietary supplements, the ingredients listed are not evaluated or confirmed by the FDA (food and drug administration) for amount or quality. Prior to starting any new medication, even if over-the-counter or "natural", you should consult with your physician. This is especially true when you take other medications, like birth control, which may not be as effective because of supplements.
