They are resorbed: When your prostate gland is removed, accessory glands, the seminal vesicles, are also removed at the same time. In addition, the vas deferens, which are the tubes that carry sperm to the prostate before ejaculation, are clipped and cut to allow for prostate removal. This is essentially the same thing as having a vasectomy. Sperm are still produced but eventually are resorbed by your body.
