I missed a birth control pill dose, am i still safe this month ? and when do i start new pack immediately after this or wait for my periods then start

Missed birth control: Many women have claimed to conceived after missing 1 pill. Continue your remaining pills appropriately but add an additional form of contraception with them for a few days. Remember, the pill does not protect against STD's, so condoms would be a good addition if you are not using them already. Some docs recommend doubling up the next day, but still use a barrier (condom).
