May be unrelated: Would definately check pregnancy test at some pointed in light of unprotected intercourse and if neg and symptoms persist see doctor.

STD risk: Pregnancy can occur even when there is no ejaculation inside. There is pre-ejaculation fluid that contains live sperm. If you had a period then you are pregnant, but in general, you should use a reliable form of birth control unless you are trying to get pregnant. Unprotected sex significantly increases the risk of STD, which can result in irregular periods or unusual symptoms with a period.
