Pregnancy Test: Please do a pregnancy test. That will give you your answer accurately and right away. It is common to not get a period even if you miss your Depo Shot.

Late bleeding: Check urine blood HCG since by now it should be positive if you had sex on September 12. if negative consider sonogram . That being said hormonal birth control is associated with menstrual irregularities.

Start with Urine pregnancy test, if negative, repeat in 2 weeks and discuss result with your GYN or PCP.

Depo is 97% effective which means 3% may get pregnant on the drug. So if you miss a period always check a pregnancy test, since that is easy to do.The actual probability in this case is low but checking pregnancy out is easy.
