I took vsl3 as per advise of my gi doc for 10 days for my IBS Now after completing the course i dont have loose stools but my symptoms have changed to constipation and bloating. Is it due to change in gut microbiome? Will it go away slowly?
For the past couple of months, I've had loose stools in the morning that look torn up and often crumble in the water with mucus floating, even after being on a full bland diet with no triggering foods. GI doc doesn't want to do a stool test. Ideas?
