24 month boy. i've noticed dark grape like balls in stool. very little stool with them. mucus, globs of soft but solid rope twisted chunks. ?

Give more fiber+H2O: Important details: ? weight gain, abdominal pain? frequency of bm's? If your child is happy, stooling regularly and seems healthy, then stool appearance is less important. Many children this age are picky and eat less veggies and fruits which can either cause a large, hard stool or pellets. Mucous glands are present in the rectum to lubricate defecation. See doctor if child seems ill.
