Re-infection: Did your partner and any other partners get treated too. It is possible that someone didn't get treated or did get treated but stopped taking the medicine when they felt better and didn't finish all of the medicine. Get in and get retested. Good luck.

Get rechecked: Something doesn't compute. Neither of these antibiotics is reliable for chlamydia. Were you actually tested for chlamydia, with a positive result? Did you have abdominal pain or diagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)? Did your sex partner(s) get tested and treated? Have you started having sex since treatment? In any case, for sure return to the doctor or clinic to be rechecked.
