See a urologist: You are diabetic the itching is not part of the epididymitis could be related to your diabetes diabetes and infection not a good combination so if you are concern see a urologist but please do not ignore your diabetes and stay connected with your diabetic doctor to keep your sugar controlled good luck

Epididymitis tx: Epididymitis in a man under 35 is most likely to be from chlamydia or gonorrhea (sexually transmitted diseases). Typically, symptoms improve after a couple days of doxycycline. Diabetes or other medical problems that impair the body's ability to fight infection may delay this improvement somewhat, but if symptoms do not respond to treatment or if they worsen, reevaluation is necessary.
