Many potential: All birth control pills can have some side effects and these sudden numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body; sudden headache, confusion, pain behind the eyes, problems with vision, speech, or balance; chest pain or heavy feeling, pain spreading to the arm or shoulder, nausea, migraines, irregular bleeding, depression, hypertension, skin discoloration are a few.

Not at all sure: why a male is using nordette (ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel). Depends a lot on the side effect in women minor stomach problems often clear up in a few days. Certainly if it is part of a triphasic OCP, then when you go to the next set of pills the side effects change feel free to ask again if I've misunderstood
