Discharge: Birth control pills can thicken the cervical mucus and because on the pill your body's hormones will change you might also experience a change in vaginal discharge. However any discharge that is not white, that is accompanied by itching or burning or an odor can signal a vaginal infection. If it is bothersome you should definitely see a health care provider.
