Vaginal bleeding: "Light bleeding" followed by "a solid blood" ( blood clot ?) is generally a result of the clot blocking the flow of blood through the cervical canal from the womb to the vagina and out. This causes severe cramping and lower back pain until the clot is out. Many times periods are "heavy" and clots can form in the womb. They are sometimes "stuck" in the canal, and cause what you described.
