I've heard of women who trap men into pregnancy by using a condom filled with semen... is this possible? would it decrease the odds of pregnancy?

Unlikely: A used condom filled with your sperm could potentially be used for this. It would have to be used rather quickly before the sample becomes unusable. Wherever you've heard this, it sounds somewhat paranoid but if you want to be sure, dispose of the condom yourself!
