Possible: At one week late for your period, a urine test should be very clearly positive or negative. A typical urine test has a cutoff of about 100 for the hormone level. You should be around that point by the time you missed your period. A blood test can go as low as 0.5, which is how the lab reports a negative result simply as "<0.5". If you are concerned, repeat the test either blood or urine.

Expect More: According to attached info, values above 25 are considered positive for pregnancy. However, since these values also increase significantly in first few weeks after conception, it is only prudent to repeat the test in a week or so to confirm finding, if still missing the period.
