Hormone disruption: Oral contraceptives inhibit ovulation via hormone manipulation and stopping them abruptly can cause a number of side effects including the ones you mention. Most often stopping midpack causes menstrual bleeding. If unprotected sex was when you abruptly stopped the pills, very unlikely you could be pregnant. Good luck!
