Can't get hard: Erectile dysfunction is the inability to get hard (erect) and stay hard enough long enough to engage in sexual activity leading to distress. Note that w/o distress, there is no ed. There are many causes which must be considered rather than masking w/medications although these drugs have revolutionized treatment.
