Unusual reaction: It is unusual to have an increase in acne with oral contraceptives however it is not impossible. Oral contraceptives are commonly used to treat acne. I would be curious to know if you are developing any other symptoms that can be associated with elevated androgen levels (like testosterone). Those symptoms would include increased hair growth where you would not expect to find it on a female. You might need to have hormone levels checked. Switching to a less androgenic pill might help also.
