If she has no : Sores on her lips then there is little chance of transmission . Have you ever has a cold sore in your mouth anytime in your life? If so then you have it too already . 80% of people carry the herpes simplex I virus that causes cold sores.

The incubation period is in the 3-10 day range, so you'll know soon if you've gotten it from her.
