Yes: Hi! Yes, the hormones of your pre-period cause your body to prepare for pregnancy. You can have several of the same symptoms of pregnancy prior to a cycle, though they are usually milder. If you don't have your usual cycle, however, do check for pregnancy. IUD's don't prevent pregnancy 100%.
