Although it can take up to 6 weeks for the AgAb ("combo') HIV blood test to become positive, it is always positive within a few days after onset of ARS symptoms. Therefore your negative test proves your symptoms are not due to HIV. However, to be 100% certain you weren't infected, have another AgAb test 6+ weeks after the exposure.
