A 18-year-old male asked:
How long does it take herpes to develop antibodies that would prevent it from appearing in another place in the body like eyes?

No antibodies: Herpes Simplex or Zoster lives in the nerve. It shows up with stress, sun and low immune status. The best prevention is if you get cold sore on your mouth or other site please wash your hand with soap and water. Please avoid touching your eyes.
