Can chlamydia be transmitted from mother to baby?

Yes: After rupture of membranes or with delivery, that's why it's so important to treat this in pregnancy because it can cause eye problems in babies.

Yes but not as VD: An untreated mother who delivers naturally can pass the germ to their baby. It does not cause a genital infection. However, it can cause an aggressive eye infection that shows up rather soon. It could also cause a pneumonia that may show up at 2-4 weeks & could be deadly.
