I've had an industrial bar piercing for over a year now. just recently, the top hole has swollen up blister like and appears bloody and purple. help?

Get it looked at.: The possibilities that come to mind are infection, trauma and/or allergic reaction. Get it seen by a physician ASAP. Go to an urgent care if you can't see your usual physician today. Remove the bar if you can do so safely. Without an exam it's difficult to assess the urgency of your problem but early intervention may prevent a more serious outcome.
