Probably infected: If recently pierced, it's probably infected, even without pain, redness, etc. It could rapidly become serious. Maybe only bleeding, but don't take the chance; try to find a way to get evaluated now. There are inexpensive or free community clinics in Atlanta; call DeKalb or Fulton Co. health dept for more info.
