Little or no risk: For sure no risk of catching genital herpes -- never transmitted nonsexually, even with shared shower, toilets, etc. No sex, no risk, no exceptions. For oral herpes, it depends on meaning of "non sexual". Kissing would be a risk. Don't share toothbrushes or razors at all, and not cups or eating utensils when they have oral herpes outbreaks. Otherwise little or no risk.
