Need to be examined: I don't know what you mean by "on my left testicle".If you are referring to any intrascrotal swelling it could mean hydrocele or spermatocele or epididymitis or testicular tumor and the list goes on. It would be best if a doctor examined you than for a doctor online to guess. Good luck. Please see a dovtor.

See your doctor: Testicular lumps can be cancer or benign. You don't want to take a chance of misdiagnosing yourself. Testicular cancer can be extremely aggressive so don't delay. Go see your doctor for a thorough exam. S/he may order an ultrasound to determine if you have a mass inside the testicle, but hopefully it is something benign such as a cyst or varicocele (dilated blood vessels). Good luck!

Explain the method of treatment for macular edema?

Dr. Bernard Godley
Retinal Surgery 32 years experience
Depends on Cause: The two most common causes of macular edema are from complications of cataract surgery, and from diabetic retinopathy. In the first case, anti-inflammatory agents are used as the first line of treatment. In the second case, laser and/or intravitreal injections are given to stop leakage from retinal blood vessels. Good systemic control of blood sugars, blood pressure and cholesterol help also.

Dr. Tarek Naguib

No, but: A severe chronic pyelonephritis may cause kidney failure which in turn can cause body swelling. Pyelonephritis alone, without affecting kidney function level, should not be a cause of body swelling.

What is wrong if my finger joint keeps swelling up every 2 to 3 months after being bitten by a cat?

Dr. John Ayres

Maybe its infected.: All human and animal bites are dirty wounds prone to infection because bacteria in the mouth is introduced into the bite wound. Different animals have different types of bacteria, but once they get into the joint they begin to destroy the cartilage which leads to "septic" arthritis. If you have had a bite wound over a jont it is a serious injury that should be evaluated by a trained professional.
