See answer : Redness and itching of the scrotum usually related either to a fungal/yeast infection (jock itch) or to some type of irritant that has come into contact with the skin: perfumed soaps, scented detergents, fabric softener, spermicidal products, or some other chemical. If fungal, keep area clean and dry and apply antifungal cream/powder. If irritant, avoid irritant and apply steroid cream to area.
