Late intercourse: Most women ovulate on day #14, calling the first day of your prior period day#1. So, intercourse on days 20-27 seems late for attempts at conception. If you believe that you ovulated later, and lets say that you conceived on 2/27, then a pregnancy test should be positive by now.
