Yeast: It's possible that your test for yeast was a false negative as it sounds like your symptoms are classic for yeast. Consider a yeast culture to confirm 100% that it truly is negative. Could also be an allergic reaction given the swelling. Maybe a second opinion by a different gynecologist? I'm sorry you're suffering, don't give up.
