Probably but: You did exactly what you are supposed to do but you should probably expect that you might have a small amount of breakthrough bleeding and you should use condoms until you get to the next pill pack just to be safe.

Yes it is safe: Yes it is safe and there is no risk of bcp failure.Just keep taking your pills same time daily.
