Is there an alternative for severe stage 2 cystocele other than mesh? i am an athlete, mom of 4, post hysterectomy from hpv 4 yrs, & only 36. help!

Yes: Mesh is definitely not your only option. Doctors can suspend vagina wall from the inside/abdomen as well. If it were me, and i were 36 years of age, i would not recommend vaginal mesh in you. You are way too young. Of course pessary is an option too, in the meantime while you make a decision. Or for long term. See a urogynecologist, board certified, to make sure you are in the best hands.
