Need more info: This could be the tip of the iceberg so to speak. There are several reasons that are possible for your complaint. Please see your family physician for an initial exam who may then refer you to a urologist.

A few things: Come to mind. When groin symptoms are related to passing stool i think of inguinal hernia or prostate irritation. However because you have a history of crohn's disease and have surgery because of it I am most concerned with symptoms coming from that. (scar tissue, fistula, abcess) first place to start is with your GI doc. If you have a fever or are having severe symptoms then go to the hospital.
