A few things: Come to mind. When groin symptoms are related to passing stool i think of inguinal hernia or prostate irritation. However because you have a history of crohn's disease and have surgery because of it I am most concerned with symptoms coming from that. (scar tissue, fistula, abcess) first place to start is with your GI doc. If you have a fever or are having severe symptoms then go to the hospital.
