Not normal: Need an exam. Irritable bowel may give diarrhea alternating with constipation; hard stools may cause hemorrhoidal bleeding. Of course other issues like inflammatory bowel disease and polyps can occur. Need to see your doc, get examined. Gastroenterology consult is in order.
