I've had the female hpv vaccination. how effective is this against cervical cancer?

It works with HPV -: Not cancer directly. It targets four strains of human papillomavirus (hpv-6, 11, 16, and 18). Hpv-16 is the cause of more than 50 percent of cervical cancers in women. Researchers have identified over 100 hpv strains.

One of the two vaccines (Gardasil) also prevents genital warts.
