Life expectancy: No, sex is exercise and typically has no effect on life expectancy. If you have significant health problems (i.e. recent heart attack) and are specifically advised by your doctor to avoid it, then don't do it.

Myths: No. Sexual activity has no negative health consequences in general. There really is no rule in medicine for when, how, how often, or with whom you have sex.

Sex not a problem: One is not harmed by too much sex unless that sex is unprotected with someone carrying a sexually transmitted disease - in that case you can certainly shorten your life and your enjoyment of life as well. ALWAYS be careful.
