Many kinds: All ocps will work to regulate cycles and provide birth control for patients with pcos your dr. Should chose a pill with the low androgen side effects-hormones that might make the pcos symptoms worse. Low androgenic pills are not absolutely necessary as all pills will improve pcos symptoms. Most ob- gyns have their "favorite pill" they prescribe the most, i would go with the advice of your dr.
