Get it evaluated: It could be a cold sore (herpes simplex). Get it looked at for confirmation.

Pimple: Probably not a pimple (bacterial). May be herpes simplex cold sore (viral). May be from trauma or foreign body. Please see your General Dentist for examination, diagnosis, and appropriate treatment.

I've had a pimple on my upper lip or the mustache area for about a month now, why won't it go away?

Apparent lip pimple: This could be a "blind" pimple, an ingrown hair, a plugged sebaceous gland, or something else. After a month, it would be a good idea to have it looked at by a physician. It would seem by this time that it is unlikely to resolve on it's own.
I have a red pimple on my lip, at least I hope it's a pimple. It's not blistered or tingled. (just noticed it). Never kissed, or had oral intercourse?

Mole: A flat brown spot anywhere is probably a harmless mole or freckle. Your primary provider is the best person to be sure.
