A member asked:

Ovarian cyst pregnancy always results to ectopic pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: In all normal pregnancies there is a cyst that develops in one ovary called the corpus luteum cyst. This cyst supports the early pregnancy and goes away on its own. Sometimes a "cyst" seen in or near the ovary does represent an ectopic pregnancy (most often in the fallopian tube". This is often accompanied by pain and bleeding.
