i went to a clinic and was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. but, they did not run a hcg test or ultrasound on me. could it be an ectopic pregnancy?

HCG: I am not sure of the clinic you went to. On exam you can have a reasonable suspicion of an ovarian cyst. Is it possible this could be an ectopic? Always possible if you are sexually active. One easy way to find out is to check a home pregnancy test.
