Sarcoidosis: There is no known cure for sarcoid. Historically, steroids have had some use, some newer drugs like Methotrexate and others have helped. There are some integrative methods but there has been limited success. Sometimes, after a patient has active sarcoid for a few years they will go into remisssion. A few patients have a chronic form which does not improve & needs intensive medical treatment.

Tincture of time: In most cases, sarcoidosis will go dormant in a few months, wether you treat it or not. In a minority of cases, it remains active and is harder to cure.

No cure: There is no cure but the disease is usually self limited. Rarely, however, the disease will progress and can cause death even with treatment but there are treatments available that are effect to slow to stop the progression of disease in most patients.
